The International Thespian Society includes schools around the world who have pledged themselves to "act well your part, there all the honour lies." ITS is an honor society dedicated to promoting excellence in high school theatre. Students earn membership in ITS by earning 10 or more points through service in their high school theatre, including work both onstage and backstage. As students accrue more points, they become eligible for honor thespian status.

Annandale Theatre Company's International Thespian Society Troupe is 2589. In the 2023-2024 school year there are 13 pledged members in Troupe 2589.
