Ms. Murray is excited for her second year at Annandale High School. Ms. Murray's theatre career began with the Missoula Children's Theatre for which she toured around the U.S., Canada, and Europe working with students in grades K-12 (2002-2005). She taught middle school theatre in Arizona (2006-2008), and then in Fairfax County at Whitman Middle School (2008-2011).Ms. Murray spent the last decade co-running a nonprofit dance organization in Alexandria (Local Motion Project). There she taught dance, trained teachers, co-directed a multi-generational dance ensemble (LMP Collective), developed and facilitated professional development for the Kennedy Center's Changing Education Through the Arts Program, collaborated with the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History.

She enjoys her free time by being in the outdoors, painting, drawing, indulging in watching character-driven teen dramas, and spending time with her family - husband Bill, daughter Lilly, and son Brendan.
